Does it need to be rinsed off?

Yes. Rinse the hair and skin thoroughly with clean, warm water after washing.

Wet your baby’s skin and hair with warm water. Apply a small amount of tear-free wash to your hand or washcloth and gently massage on your baby in a circular motion. The light lather means a clean wash with less chemicals on your baby’s skin. Rinse with clean water and pat your baby dry with a soft towel.
